New Employee Orientation (NEO) is provided to ensure that all new St. Peter’s Health employees have the information, resources and support they need for an easy and successful transition into their new job.
Upon successful hire, each new employee will receive information about the date of their NEO session via an email from the Human Resources Department. Sessions begin at 9 a.m. Monday-Thursday unless otherwise noted. Job Specific Agendas that may effect start times are provided to new hires so they can begin to receive personalized training per their position
What to Expect
NEO is a four day program that takes place every other week. The program includes:
- Presentations delivered by different departments
- an Employee/Director meet and greet
- Computer training
- Hands-on training sessions
- An Onboarding Specialist is also provided as a liaison from the Human Resources Department, helping to ensure open and effective communication between the hospital staff and new employees.
