Student Clinical Experience Application

Thank you for your interest in a clinical experience at St. Peter’s Health. All students are required to go through an application process. Please note that specialty placement is based on availability. In order to determine eligibility, the following information is needed.

We will make an effort to respond in a timely manner. If you do not receive a response within 2 weeks, please send a follow-up email to tmcgree@sphealth.org and BFeist@sphealth.org. You may get an initial response that outlines the student requirements. Examples of additional documents which may be required include, but are not limited to, the following:

Evidence of a criminal background check
Proof of immunizations
Evidence of liability insurance
A letter of good standing from your school

Educational experiences are limited and in high demand. It is recommended that program-required experiences be requested 6 to 12 months in advance of the requested/anticipated start date. Requests submitted less than 30 days before the requested start date will not be considered.

High School Students: We unfortunately are not accepting high school students at this time. Helena High School and Capital High School students are encouraged to contact their school about the Medical Careers Program.

Freshman and Sophomore University/College Students: We unfortunately are not accepting freshman or sophomore students at this time.
