August 28, 2023
September is National Suicide Prevention Month. Suicide is complex and multifaceted, but it can be preventable. There are many things we can do as coworkers, friends and family members to increase our awareness of suicide, identify potential warning signs, and provide support to someone you are concerned may have thoughts about suicide.
St. Peter's Health is firmly committed to the health, wellness and safety of our patients and team members. We are proud of the strides we have made to expand our behavioral health care and services in recent years, but we must double down on these efforts.
During We Speak Mental Health Week, September 22-29, 2023, St. Peter's is hosting a series of free mental health training and educational opportunities for staff and the community. Please join us for a week of free trainings and activities.
