St. Peter’s Health Outpatient Wound Care has earned the 2023 Healogics Center of Distinction Award. To achieve this distinction, the clinic had to meet the following criteria:
- Meet patient satisfaction with a 92% or greater average top box score – Our score is 92%.
- Achieve a healing rate of 77% or better; this means healing the patient within 14 weeks of their initial visit – We achieved a 93% healing rate.
- Have an outlier of 16% or less; outliers are patients who have not healed within the 14-week timeframe – The team achieved a 4% outlier rate.
St. Peter’s Wound Clinic opened in 2021 and has grown from a panel of 30 patients on opening day to seeing 90-100 patients weekly. This is the second year the clinic received the Healogics Center of Distinction Award.
