St. Peter’s Health announced today plans to open a new pharmacy inside the St. Peter’s Health Medical Group North Clinic located at 3330 Ptarmigan Lane. Slated to open in the spring of 2024, the clinic will now offer comprehensive primary care and urgent care services as well as diagnostic imaging, laboratory, and retail pharmacy services.
According to St. Peter’s Chief Operating Officer Brian Lee, expanding access for residents on the north side of town has been a priority for many years. “We want to offer our patients convenience and one-stop-shopping for their health care needs,” says Lee. “Like our Broadway Clinic, patients who receive care at our North Clinic will now be able to see their provider, complete imaging and lab services, and pick up their prescriptions all in one place.”
The new, full-service pharmacy will include outpatient prescription services, patient medication counseling, drug information and select adult immunizations.
“A pharmacy in the same building as provider offices is uncommon in Helena and offers a huge advantage for patients and their care teams,” says Lee. “Pharmacists and providers can connect quickly about prescribed medications through a shared medical record, or by simply walking down the hall, streamlining prescription fill times and offering more coordinated patient care.”
Preliminary hours for the new pharmacy will be seven days a week, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on the weekends. St. Peter’s is also planning for expanded pharmacy hours at their Broadway Clinic in 2024, including offering weekend hours.
