The Quality Department's mission is to provide Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) resources to service lines throughout St. Peter's Health.
The Quality Department consists of the following:
- Quality Improvement
- Patient Safety
- Patient Experience
- Accreditation
- Infection Prevention
Quality Assurance is accomplished through:
- Chart Reviews to verify accurate documentation or investigate a grievance
- Internal Audits of departments and specific processes
- Surveillance of infectious cases
- Rounding of various service areas
