Vestibular rehabilitation is an exercise-based program designed by a specialty-trained Physical Therapist to improve balance and reduce problems related to dizziness. Our highly-trained therapists will work with you to accurately assess and treat vestibular disorders by utilizing a variety of objective tests to best develop an individualized treatment program.

- BPPV – benign paroxysmal positional vertigo
- Vestibular neuritis
- Cervicogenic dizziness
- Brainstem or cerebellar strokes
- Labyrinthitis
- Acoustic neuroma
- Migraine associated vertigo
- Vestibular hypofunction (unilateral or bilateral)
- Ototoxicity
- Post Concussion Syndrome/TBI
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Meniere’s during phases of stability
Treatment can include:
- Balance/gait retraining
- Visual exercises
- Vestibular habituation exercises
- Manual techniques for BPPV
- Manual therapy for neck musculature/positioning and alignment
- Fall prevention
- Muscle retraining/conditioning
- Relaxation exercises
- Activities of daily living adaptations
- Range of motion work/flexibility
We offer evaluation with video Frenzel goggles that can objectively record and measure abnormal eye movements associated with peripheral vestibular loss, acoustic neuroma, traumatic brain injury (TBI), Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), vestibular neuronitis, Internuclear Opthalmoplegia (INO) and many other peripheral vestibular and central neurological disorders.
