St. Peter’s Health Medical Group welcomes Hospitalist Dr. Timothy Missey, Family Medicine Physician Dr. Andrew Lester, Anesthesiologist Dr. Morgan Smith and General Surgeon Dr. Robert Maher.
Dr. Missey earned his medical degree at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri and his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Cellular Biology at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. He completed his residency at Northside Regional Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida and St. Joseph Warren Hospital in Warren, Ohio. Missey is a board-certified member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Internal Medicine and the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Lester earned his Doctorate of Medicine at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona and his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and his Bachelor of Art in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Montana in Missoula. He completed his residency in the Montana Family Medicine Residency Program in Billings and is a board-certified member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Physicians and the American Academy of Family Physicians. A Great Falls native, Lester joins Physician Assistant Dwight Thompson serving Broadwater county residents at the St. Peter’s Health Medical Group Townsend Clinic. He is accepting new patients at 444-8200.
Dr. Smith completed his fellowship in Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota and his internship and residency at the University of New Mexico Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland-Ochsner Clinical School of Medicine in Brisbane, Australia, his Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Certificate at Montana State University in Bozeman and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado.
Dr. Maher earned his Doctor of Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan and his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. He completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Arizona-Phoenix School of Medicine in Phoenix, Arizona and is a board-certified member of the American College of Surgeons. Maher joins his sister Dr. Katrina Maher, a family medicine physician at St. Peter’s. Prior to joining the St. Peter’s Health Medical Group North Clinic, their father Dr. James Maher served the Helena community for 33 years as a Family Medicine Physician and retired in 2015.
