St. Peter’s Health Registered Nurses Rachelle Rasuer, RNC and Darcy Christopherson, RN received DAISY Awards for Extraordinary Nurses. DAISY Awardees are selected quarterly from nominations submitted by St. Peter’s patients, their families and fellow colleagues.
Rauser works as a float pool nurse. The patient who nominated her said, “Rachelle showed me so much compassion and kindness and I will never forget her. Her grace and help in my terrible situation was simply remarkable. I am eternally grateful for Rachelle. Rachelle will be part of my success story!”
Christopherson works in St. Peter’s Broadway Clinic. The colleague who nominated her shared, “Darcy always has a smile on her face and is making people laugh. She is always willing to help out and she makes an effort to make sure everyone is included – including front staff, she has gone above and beyond helping co-workers during the Epic transition and her work does not go unnoticed!”
