Why do I need to get the flu shot every year?
The flu virus changes frequently, so an updated vaccine is necessary each year to protect against the most likely strains. Even if the vaccine doesn’t perfectly match the prevalent strains, it still offers protection and helps prevent future infections.

Who should get the flu shot?
Everyone 6 months and older should get their annual flu shot, with few exceptions. A higher dose is recommended for high-risk individuals and those over 65. You can learn more about who should get the flu shot HERE

Should kids get the flu shot?
Yes, kids are at high risk for upper respiratory infections as they are often in close contact with others at school or activities. Flu shots can reduce the spread and severity of flu symptoms, helping prevent missed school days and severe illness.
