St. Peter’s Health Medical Group is announcing the opening of a new Orthopaedic Urgent Care today, Monday, May 13. The St. Peter’s Health Medical Group Orthopaedic Urgent Care will be located in the same location as the organization’s Orthopaedic Clinic at 2550 Broadway Ave. in Helena, and be open Monday through Friday from 10:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. No appointment is necessary and walk-ins will be welcome.
The Orthopaedic Urgent Care will provide evaluation and treatment for common orthopaedic-related injuries like sports injuries; broken bones and cast or splint issues; strains and sprains; minor cuts; and post-operative concerns. “Our goal is to provide an additional, quality and convenient option for community members seeking care for orthopaedic injuries,” said Vice President of St. Peter’s Health Medical Group Brian Lee.
St. Peter’s Health Orthopaedics team currently includes two physicians and four advanced practice providers. An additional orthopaedic surgeon as well as a new physician assistant are slated to start summer 2019. According to St. Peter’s Health Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Joshua Hudgens, “we tend to see a significant number of strains and sprains in the spring and summer when people are recreating and enjoying all Montana has to offer. Our goal is to get our patients back to doing what they love to do as soon as safely possible.”
