Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Josh Hudgens has joined St. Peter's Health Medical Group. Dr. Hudgens is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in upper extremity care. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, and his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. He then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Following residency he underwent advanced training, completing a shoulder and elbow surgery fellowship at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and was a visiting clinician at the Roth MacFarlane Hand and Upper Limb Center in London, Ontario focusing on advanced elbow surgical techniques.
Dr. Hudgens has a special interest in shoulder, elbow, and wrist surgery, including shoulder and elbow joint replacement and revisions; shoulder and elbow arthroscopy; rotator cuff repair; shoulder instability; elbow ligament repair and reconstruction; shoulder, elbow, forearm, and wrist fracture care and reconstruction; wrist arthritis; and general orthopaedics.
