Bike Safety Tips

Safety is our top priority, and we want everyone to ride confidently and safely. Here are some essential bike safety tips to keep in mind:

  • Wear a Helmet: Always wear a properly fitted helmet to protect your head in case of a fall or collision.
  • Be Visible: Wear bright, neon, or reflective clothing, especially if riding at night. Equip your bike with lights and reflectors.
  • Follow Traffic Rules: Bicyclists must follow the same traffic rules as motorists. Ride single file in the direction of traffic and use hand signals when turning.
  • Check Your Equipment: Before riding, ensure your bike is in good working condition. Check the brakes, tires, and seat height.
  • Stay Alert: Keep your head up and be aware of your surroundings. Watch for opening car doors, pedestrians, and other hazards.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to celebrate health, wellness, and the joy of biking. Register now and get ready for a day of wheeled adventures at the St. Peter's Health Bicycle Rodeo!
